Day four and fife and six

On thursday we visited in the morning the Sagra Da Familia. Got there before nine am and there were all ready a line. Well, it was worth of stand there. We all so got elevator ticket, it was really scary to come down.


And then we visited the Park Güell with my fried and hers son. And do some shopping, of course.
I ran all the way to beach coast in the morning.. there were other joggers too.

On friday I ran on heavy rain to the Mont Jüic, it was really hard, huh, not used to run on hills... And then we wondered along the city, did saw some amazing churches. On the evening we had some hot thick chocolete on old cáfe - Granja M.Viader.

On saturday we went to Lomography shop and do other shopping there on Gothic district. In the evening we had change to eat late dinner on my friends and her sons friend place. It was really nice. We ate some pasta with octopus and octopuses ink and other seafood too.

We went three times to the Starbucks,

got to see two Gaudi houses,

go to the market hall,

did some shopping at Desigual
and saw one museum - Museu del Perfum.

We ate on some "folk" place; builders and pensioners where there.

And then just wonder.

Some of time we were with my colleague and her son. Son is mostly english speaking and we mostly finnish - so it was not  a succeed.

Trip went nicely. Barcelona airport was easy and so did the Metro!
Just having some cherry´s, much cheaper than those spanish ones was in Finland ;-D. Like Emilia said we saved some euros, when getting ticket to Barcelona..

It´s planning day!

Got great Barcelona books from my friends; Mondo´s travel guide, Top 10 Barcelona and Barcelona&Katalonia Guide.

 I´m thinking to read those, and get the best of books, making some map and probably some plans what to do on those days. But I don´t want to be too accurate, anyway its nice to know where to find great caffeterias, second hand markets, nice places to eat and so one. ...Like if such happens, that we we wonder through those palaces - nothing too serious or planned.
And in Mondos guide have some hints about local manners. Those are always good to know.

And probably we will have company in Barcelona

My colleague said that she has one friend in Barcelona and that it would be great to take a trip there too.
She asked when we are going there and ups, she booked flights for her and for hers son there - same days that we will be there, different flights though.
Well lets see, maybe we will have some common interests there.
Ours are shopping, Star Bucks and swimming - and I want to photo shoot  Gaudi´s architecture.

Short mom and daughter duo-trip on April

We did it last year to Tallin, and agreed to do it again. So this year it means boattrip to Stocholm and back.
It´s nice to do these mom and daughter trips. Have you any experiences of these kind of trips?... it would be nice to hear about those.

Planning

We check public transport in Barcelona, How to get from the airport to the hotel and so one...probably its good idea to take that 5 day travel cards. Its nice that Emilia is now doging this.. she wants to know how to move from place to place :-D. Some year she will do this all by herself.

short visit to Rovaniemi

Going to visit Rollo for a couple of days. we are taking a night train. 
Hopefully trains are not too many hours late, last year it toke about 6 hours to wait. And the Pasila railway station is sooo cold.

Its all ways so difficult to pack things... shoes are the most difficult, to have shoes, nice and warm, both for outside and in. Thinking to take a moonboots, warm, but hey use those inside on "a shopping trip"...
I got for Emilia a new Vikingboots today, allmost the same model that she has been wearing about hmm 4 years (yes, I taught child might grow suddenly, have to have some space to grow :D).

So it goes

at next June we will visit Barcelona. Nice for Emilia (and me too)to start checking all the places to find and look.
It´s too bad that our new dog, Greenland dog Sandy,  ate my spanish dictionary...:-D

It´s almost clear now for mom and daughter to explore

on next summer; Barcelona.  There´s beach,  Starbucks and shopping.

Monihan tuota kohdetta suositteli jo viime kesäksi, mutta jotenkin se Buda vaan iski takavasemmalta. 

Saapa nähdä mitä tästä tulee, nää laatuvaatimuksetkin majoituksesta kun on nykyään niin kasvaneet... kuntosali ois kauheen kiva:-D. Vaik ainahan sitä voi vaan käydä lenkillä ;-D.

Oon tuossa nyt katellut hiukan noita matkapaketteja tai josko erikseen ostais. Viime Budapest-matkalle matkapörssin nettipalvelu tuntui hyvältä, nyt se bookkaa vaan jotain ihme aikaan lähtevää tsekkilentoa, ei anna vaihtoehtoja. No Ebookers toimii hiukan näppärämmin.  Ehkä mä sittenkin tilailen erikseen kummatkin... Jos saan itselleni ihan 100% varmuustunteen siitä, että toi on kohde. Tää on vielä kuitenkin tällaista kypsyttelyä.

Matkamessut jäivät käymättä

Viikonloppu meni surulisissa merkeissä, vanha uskollinen koiramme lähti luotamme
toiseen maailmaan.

Ei siinä tilassa oikein menomeiningit houkuta, eikä matkat ole
päälimäisenä mielessä.
Ajatustyötä jatketaan taas paremmalla ajalla.

Minnes ensi kesänä tytöt suuntaa?

Aina välillä, viime marraskuusta asti,  pääsemme keskustelun alkuun siitä minne suunnataan ensi kesänä. Vielä ei ole tullut mitään ideaa ja herätettä. Mielihaluina on mulla ainakin se kuntosali, Emmulla uintimahdollisuus ja yhteisenä Starbucks... sen pitemmälle ei ajatustyö ole edennyt.

Nyt sitten eilen huomattiin että kappas vaan, kohtahan on matkamessut. Sen tilaisuuden luulisi herättelevän unelmia.
