Summer 2015 starts

Provinssirock

Well the weather was fine. Just sad to see how few people there was.

We stayed at Hotelli Cumulus, I booked a room from some netservice, little bit over 100 € /night. And what we get?Dark  room without window. And I could almost say, that hotel wasnt full booked.

 I tryed to get room from sokoshotel..couldnt get standard room... So next one was this Cumulus. Not going there ever again... Two nights att cellar was enough.

But the sauna was fine:) 

On Saturday I did Alvar Aalto tour, so nice buildings, beautiful... I love Aino and Alvar Aaltos familywork- familywork, cos its not jus Alvar who did those.

We saw allso one old building, Suojeluskuntatalo- Aaltos early work. Totally different than we used to think whatkind  are Aaltos work. 

Emily wanted to go to that Lotta Svärd museum, she is history girl.

Can say, there was quite a energy there.

And something about the festival.

Well, food was excellent at Juurella

And music. Emily saw second time Turmion Kätilöt... First time was at Tuska OpenAir festival year something, dont remember 2009 (?)

Then we really enjoyd and danced with Jake #Bugg.. Sad, that because whole festival was so empty, there wasnt many people to be there. I think it was a really disapointing moment for that sweetie.

On saturday there was for us #dropkick murphys 

and one really nice  #rudimental

Nice to watch ;)

One nice joke moment was when some man tryed to hit on Emily, when he understod that I was her mom, he started to praise mother who comes to these kind of place with her daughter. How nice and the greatest mom I'm. ... Emily laughed.. That...yes isnt she, comes with me to this kind of festival...

Så det är sommar

Och vet ni vad.. min dottern har börjat sin sommar resorna... fick till New York med min bror.
 och jag arbetar bara :D.
Med det ska bli också ledighet för mig, ganska snart.
Och på denna veckoslutet vi har en överraskning resa för dottern och... oh no, now I remember this all should be in English :D.

So My daughter has started her summer holidays allready, she was at New York with my brother.
Almost one week; museums, exhibitions, balét, musical etc.
My holidays starts quite soon.. and for this weekend I won or got  (I´m friend for Radio Helsinki and friends can get some benefits now and then) tickets for Provinssi Rock... open air festival in Finland. So it will be surprise weekend for mom and daughter. Two nights... and lot of music..

Easter and short Stockholm trip

We are traveling together for long time. again to stocholm.
I have been here allmost every week now, cos we have new company at our home...
Sari, Emilys godmother from Rovaniemi. Shes having some Joga-time at Helsinki.

So they said it will be warm at Helsinki this Easter... here in Stockholm, just rain for now. Hope it gets better.

Trip is the usualone... morning flight 7 am. from Helsinki ( we had to take taxi from home .. shit its expencive, costs 47 euros from Oulunkylä to Airport) to Arlanda. From Arlanda  by bus to Norrtälje 7:21 am 

 Little time at Norrtälje and then bus to Älmsta. And cos its Sunday, no bus till Norrbyle...  old Niva come to get us from Älmsta... If it works :o

Lets see how our day goes, now on way to Norrtälje. 

Stholm and Norwegian

so its been a while. But never the less, we havent had so many traveling adventures.
Jus two times at Stholm.

Heres arlandas dinersclub lounge... Free for now, coming to cost too much after march.

Last weekend there was our friends 50' s party. It as hold at greenhouse, lovely place... their company.

Tomorrow my darling girl goes to USA

Oh I would like to go with her.
 our summer trips was this summer to Sweden. Lets see if next summer we can get back to this mom6 daughter. Now it was impossible to me to go with her - money and time. My work start 1.8. :-(.

Summer 2013

So it is, that all our travels this summer will be to Sverige, Stockholm or Väddö, Norrbyle.
Over two weeks.
One week is all ready over, Emily travelled back to Finland for one week and is coming back tomorrow.

So what we did? First one weekend in Norrbyle, that is what I love, and for Emily it was unpleasant. Going first straight from Arlanda to Norrtälje, there couple of hours. And then bus to Norrbyle. And there they were, waiting us: Paul my new man and his son Joar. Norrbyle is real country life. Cows and so :-D

Then week in Stockholm. Wee took again a bus trip to Norrtälje and to Stockholm.

Stockholm was all shopping and lot of walking.

Because of Emilys feelings about Norrbyle, we decided that she can go back to Finland earlier.
Only some 5 to 6 days in Norrbyle. Then again Stockholm city life.

We can bike around and go for swimming and so.
then in the end of summer Emily get her real travel. But its not with me... shes going to USA with her friends family.
